How Can "I" Meet God on the Mountain?

Often many of us find that we don't have a very clear understanding of the things Jesus said and meant, regarding our relationship with him.  We can agree that Jesus Christ brought love and the idea of oneness into the forefront of the world.  However, Christianity has become a varied division of styles of worship, denominations, approaches, and different beliefs and opinions.

I think it is safe to say that most of you have experienced or explored more than one church or denomination, if not more than one religion in your search for a deeper level of connection with the divine in your life.   Each of us was raised with different traditions, have traveled down different pathways, and have varied levels of understanding and viewpoints, and this is all fine.

In the Gospel of John, chapter 8, verse 31 Jesus talks about becoming one of his disciples.  He says "If you continue in my word, my truth teachings, then you are my disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."  Most of us know things about Jesus, what he said and taught, and about his life.  But, have you ever considered yourself a disciple of Christ?  I mean in an individual sense where it has to do with moving your heart and to shift internally toward what your calling is to be, not becoming a servant.

So, you might be asking yourself "What can I focus on that will bring me the right match?".  You will certainly want to focus on what is the highest and the best that is possible for you, who are one with God.  We must always strive to be in the moment, and the beautiful experiences that this moment gives you.  This is where God is.  This is the special place where there is not past, nor future.  There is no judgment, right or wrong, and no pain, just a now moment where God is.

In this unique, special place is where we all strive to be.  It is a warm feeling of home, comfort, and connection.  Are you in this special place?
