All You Need is Love

Lately I find myself thinking and speaking about the topic of relationships.  Relationships are the cornerstone of everything that your life is, and the quality of your life a result of the quality of your relationships.  With this said, it can be added that we are all on a pathway seeking a higher level of unconditional love and understanding.

Love is about the love of God, being able to love, accept and respect ourselves, as well as sharing love with others.  We are all interconnected to one another and are essentially all one family with relationships being born with each person that we meet.  It is a creation in each person we come to know, and a new learning experience.  We learn a lot about ourselves when we create new relationships, particularly long lasting relationships.  Along with learning about ourselves in relationships comes a healing process.  This healing process is invaluable as it is a form of healing and letting go of past "baggage".

Love, not held within us is meant to flow through us.  There are many great books on this particular topic.  God and love are within each of us and we are a part of God and love.  God is love.  This love flowing through each one of us is what helps make it possible for us to feel happy, fulfilled, and content.  The part of our mind that is the ego can be our enemy, which lies to us.  This is a self-created frame of mind.  Keeping love flowing through us eliminates, or minimizes this self-created ego.

Relationships, especially loving relationships on any level are a vehicle for love, and visa-versa.  Everything in life and the world comes down to people, which comes down to relationships.   This, combined with a healthy flow of love creates understanding, forgiveness, and happiness, which is a recipe for a content life.  In Corinthians 1, it says "Do everything out of love."  In Colossians 3, it tells us, "Put on love, which binds all together in perfect unity."  The message is, we put on love, and we help to bind and bond our family together, our workplace, ourselves.  This activity of love can sure be a unifying energy!

We feel happiest, fulfilled, and a real sense of home spiritually when we have love flowing through us like this.  It is natural and what's supposed to happen.  Can you think of ways in your life where this applies to you?  I'd love to hear your feedback on how this has touched you specifically.
